Young Mabel West is the daughter of mystery writer Raymond West, who wants her to lead a normal life. Rebelling against this, Mabel wants to be a great detective, and sets out for London to become assistant to none other than Hercule Poirot, the great Belgian detective who resides there. She finally wins the reluctant approval of her father, and embarks on an exciting life of mystery and suspense - his only demand being that she occasionally spend some time with her great-aunt, Jane Marple, in the small village of St. Mary Mead. |

When I first watched this i was very sceptical about it, since it seemed strange to create a new character just for the anime, but alll my doubts where erased one by one. It really is an enjoyable show with lots of content as it varies between Poirot and Marple, and Maybelle´s presence doesn´t really change the story since most of her lines are taken from other characters that where replaced with her. Watching this is a great way of passing time, and for some of the greater stories you can curl up with some cocoa on a rainy day and watch some mysteries get solved.
