One day Junichi Nagase comes across two boys tormenting Yuuhi Katagiri. When he steps in to help they run off calling him "Geno Killer". The following day due to a misunderstanding he kisses her which greatly upsets her. That evening to his surprise and dismay she shows up to his door saying she is his fiancée and that she has come to live with him to evaluate him to see if he is worthy of her. Much hi-jinx ensues as the days go by. |

I found time one day and decided to give this animation a try. It had an interesting premis. I was pleasntly suprized.
The story is very intreging. A girl has a mix-up with a guy forcing a very dramatic turn around in that guys life to the point it could change his entire school life and beyond. However if the story is solid the actual focus of the story isnt. I found at times I was trying to decifer where it was going. Though it gains some great ground being a comedy with the up and down action. Perhapes it has the Baka no test problem of not going anywhere that gives it a charm and a curse... still though worth the watch....
Dialogue.. actually its impressive. The characters are in many ways clitche but they are done well sending out a differing spin on the series as a whole and allowing people to fix the character in a box description but at the same time be not to suprized if they did somthing very differnt from what their "clitche" was.
Animation... actually was average.. they did well on the People and buildings though I found in the begining alot of the characters have the exact same modle ... It wont be a problem for most people but I see most things by shape so I noticed that some of the characters are hard to decern from another... you have to conecntrate in the beginining to peg the idea of whose who quickly animaiton wise so you dont fall behind.
Entertainment... its not the bed comedy nor a clear romance.. It feel like a anaimation that doesnt go a whole lot of anywhere however, it is one of the best entertainment anime out their... the vibe comes off as 'sincere' the story is actually about exploring feelings and finding out new ways to aproach things. It adds in a comedic feel which gives in the more Western Style animation idea of not having a clear cut push forward goal and honestly for this animation its perfect. It handle the idea of each episode to its own well though still uses the memorable and usefull Japanese habit of continuing plot points used earlier or continuing much need theams...
overall well must see if you like comedy and romance in one.. not the best out their but pretty much fun :)
