ano hana (too-long title but other than that...)

pros
+ powerful emotions, heartrendering
+ good characters
+ well-animated with soothing and fitting music
cons
- can be somewhat over-emotional (so much crying? it's been ten years...)
- not everything is cleared up

conclusion: a smart, powerful, and occasionally profound examination of love. good characters with well-done psychologics, and relatable where it doesn't come to crying all the time (that can be a little exaggerated). however, it is relatable in its emotional aspect, and surely something not to miss for fans of the somewhat sadder, drama-filled slice-of-life category. has its funny aspect but that can get quite drowned out... -sighs- despite the fact that not everything is cleared up (how exactly menma died), the whole thing is well-written and enjoyable. perhaps geared towards the female audience, but still something not to miss if you like emotional animes. (says something in itself that i haven't been able to find a third flaw. :p)
