When I say that an anime is good, I mean it. I've seen quite a few animes in the past few years and love to open my horizon's to new ones. Normally I'm very picky on which anime I'll spend my time watching, like if the series is too corny or not well developed. My favorites include Bleach, Death Note, Tokyo Majin and many many more... and basically I thought that nothing could ever top Death Note. EVER. If your a fan of that anime series I strongly recommend that you watch this masterpiece called Code Geass, which BLEW DEATH NOTE AWAY. Of course there are many similarities to Death Note (such as the main character's secret was basically one of the main plots to the story, and that both main characters are extremely intelligent), but it was the subtle differences that made Code Geass 10x more entertaining than Death Note ever was. The action scenes were phenomonal, and sort of reminded me of Transformers :), except that you could actually tell the difference in the two "robots" when fighting. It really wasn't too difficult to understand either, especially for someone like me who tends to zone out a lot. It was jammed pack with emotion (again, something Death Note sometimes lacked), and almost every episode left you with a cliff hanger. There was hardly any filler episodes, because each and every part of that series was important and interesting. Like I said, THE BEST ANIME I'VE EVER WATCHED... and plan on watching over and over again. Enjoy!
