This is an interesting one to review.. All in all its excellent though doesnt overly stand out.
The Story is somewhat remenicant in some ways, however is done in a whole new flavor. I found it simular in powers to Shakugan no shana which that being a good thing however is completly originall in many ways. The main character has been done before for both sides but this one seems to stound out more intersting in some ways. Though I cant really tell the course of the story as its still very new into it.
The Dialogue is sharp. At times they talk at normal speeds with complex words- but their voices match the tone to good degrees and each acter shows only the message that the character is allowed to show- not giving off revealing information off the bat. This allows for better development which is subtle and strong.
The Animation is tight. Japanese high studios are famous for it, however this one is a interesting new bar. They have intersting highlights on classic powers yet even familar Valkyre type costumes are redone. Its fairly echani but many might not mind that.
Entertainment.... Well its funny. It gives all the vibes for a show that can and does have more depth but the writers and director are determined to only show one aspect at a time.. it makes me very curious as to where it is going. I have many theories but it adds a delicious anticipation factor to a straitforward mishape-super-power type anime. The comedy is well timed and the intersting situation adds some laughs. Overall its excellent. I did find in some sceans it transitioned fast which was slightly jarring- though most wont even notice it.
for people who love echani-comedy.. and the fans of Shakugan no shana.. you will like this most likely.
I recomend though Note I did this review early so the show would have at least a reference. ....
