First off, this is still one of my favorite series, so it saddens me when people only watch this once and toss it away saying stuff like "it makes no sense, its just random stuff thrown together with no plot"
It does have one, its just more subtle than most people are used to, FLCL is at its most basic a coming of age story, but you really cant pick up on that with just one viewing. I recommend at least three. The first time you watch it, sit back and just let it take you where it wants to. The second viewing you laugh at all the jokes and subtle references you missed the first go around. Its on the third that you can actually try to understand what the series is, and more importantly what its trying to tell you.
Personally I still laugh every time I watch this.... and has been mentioned before, the soundtrack kicks serious ass!
