In the country of Gazth-Sonika, civil war rages. There, a mercenary called Madlax plies her trade, with almost supernatural skill. So reading viewer reviews on different sites I was a bit worried about this anime. However my worry was for not. As Madlax really showed it stars.
It's true the story bounces from the two mains alot, but as the story goes on you start connecting the dots, and realizing the hidden plot. One ep builds into the next, slowly but effectively telling you the story. It's a bit confusing at first, but finish this series and you will be greatful you did.
