| Summary: |
Kawakami City is famous for its strong dedication to its samurai ancestors. A healthy fighting spirit is always valued and it's even an important factor for success at school. Yamato, a second year student from Kawakami Highchool is always with his close friends (4 boys and 3 girls). They have all known each other since they were young and have done many things together. While they have many other friends, this group of seven is a close-knit, inseparable group. They even have a secret base where they meet. Now I know alot of people won't agree with this but I felt this anime to be a bit over the top. It's an ecchi/action/romance/comedy - a dangerous combination if I have ever seen one and a rather stupic concept as well. I had some hope for this since I enjoy romances but this one made me fear for my sanity. It's fun to watch but the only thing I ever enjoyed that is somewhat similar to this is samurai girls and at least there the harem style anime was not as exxagerated as this. I wouldn't advise you to watch this if you prefer straightforward, nicely constructed and unconfusing anime. It could have been better.
