"Natsu no Arashi" isn't the best show out there but it isn't as bad as I expected. I wanted to watch this because I read it was from the same creator as one of my favourite series, School Rumble.
The story isn't good but most comedies lack a decent plot. The whole time travel thing is fun but other than discussing paradoxes not that much more is done with it. Most characters don't really have a background (yet) and none of the weird stuff is explained.
The conversations can be funny. I had some real laughs but also a few moments where the joke was obvious and lame. The personalities of the characters are pretty good so there's definitely some potential there.
In my opinion, the art isn't good. It's not because it's a bit older but simply the style doesn't always seem right. The heroine looked like a guy cross-dressing at first and I still haven't completely accepted how the faces of women look.
"Natsu no Arashi" was a relaxing series. I wouldn't recommend it. There are better things out there but I often watched a few episodes in a row and I'm planning on watching the second season.
