Gorgeous and Amazing!

Although different from the action, fight-packed, epic Bleach and Naruto, this anime is just incredibly well made, full of action (more of the story,adventure and spiritual kind). Seriously, this may be the best anime I've ever watched. Natsume is the most likable, admirable guy (and it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes) and his faithful, sarcastic Nyanko Sensei (his yokai bodyguard) is really funny and seriously you just want one of him to be your bodyguard slash pet. The whole anime like poetry, beautiful stories, great characters, haunting music to rival the theme music of Naruto, and beautiful drawing. It's about yokai and has spiritual/demonic themes so if you like stories like Tactics, Shounen Onmyouji, Fushigi Yuugi, you'll like this. It's made for male and female viewers. It made be a little slow at times so if you need constant fight scenes, then it may not be right for you. And there's no romance either but there's plenty of drama, character development, at times horror (the demons that appear can be frightening), beautiful music, poignancy, bonds between people, bonds between spirits and people and animals and people. And sometimes it's damned funny! There is great chemistry between Natsume and Nyanko Sensei - they are best friends, owner and pet, master and bodyguard. Give it a try!
