Story - One Piece has a very complex and interesting storyline. Not complex as in "I have no idea whats going on," but in the sense that even though it has been going for so long and takes place in such a large world, everything just seems to stick together perfectly. Minor characters from the first few episodes are still making appearences over 400 episodes on, and actually have a role in the story. The creator of One Piece makes sure every character makes an impact on the story in some way. Filler episodes are also well written, if I had not read the original manga I would never of known it had moved from the main storyline.

Dialogue - The dialogue can seem very stereotypical at times, must protect friends, I won't back down until I do this or that. That kind of thing. However that is only at the climax of whatever story is being told at the time, the dialogue used between main points in the story can be very humourous as each character has a distinct personality which affects how they interact with others. Sanji and Zoro have their rivalry while Nami and Robin are more sisterly.

Animation - It isn't the worst I've ever seen. Nor the best, though One Piece has a unique drawing style. It can be quite rough during earlier episodes, but once the episodes reach the point digital animation became popular the quality does pick up quite a bit. I especially enjoyed the Enies Lobby arc as the animation is quite clean. More recent episodes however do seem to of slipped in quality, though it may just be because they are focusing on future episodes as they are about to hit the Marineford Arc, and anyone who has read the manga knows why that means something. Can't say anymore, spoilers. =P

Entertainment - This'll be short; One Piece is one of the single most entertaining things I have ever seen. The only thing I do not love is the music, and even then that's only sometimes. Everything about the series is high quality, and I can see this series continuing for years to come.
