I didn't expect it too, but when I watched a little of Best Wishes, I got hooked. The animation's improved by leaps and bounds, Team Rocket has gotten more competent, the story is a little more unpredictable, and Satoshi(Ash)'s new travelling partners Iris and Dento(Cilan) have become my new favourite characters. Though I admit I still find things to complain about very often, I admit that I like this a lot more compared to Generations III and IV. In fact, it's pretty much a tie with the good old days of Gen I.
