The school romantic comedy revolves around a second-year high school student named Sorata Kanda who lives in Sakurasou, the dormitory for problem children at Sorata's school. One day, Mashiro Shiina —a cute girl who happens to be also a cosmopolitan, brilliant artist— moves into Sakurasou.
Sorata thinks to himself that he should protect Mashiro from the weirdos at Sakurasou, but Mashiro has a surprising secret: she has no idea how to take care of herself. She gets lost if she goes out, and her room is a complete mess. Sorata's dorm mates designate him as the "master" of Mashiro, and thus, an ordinary boy and a brilliant girl must live like "a master and his pet." |

Its hard to put into words how epic and involved this anime is.
The pacing of the story is both perfect and sets up a wonderful show that makes you want to watch the next episode right away. The story is Rovolving adding in a few characters as it goes and flushing out the ones you already know. Unlike other animes it directly feels like its advancing the characters at a fast pace but it doesnt lose any of its luster or balance. It moves so smoothly it feels like you know each of the characters personaly while still touching other great points such as comedy and slice of Life. Each episode just makes you feel good after watching it.
The dialogue is sharp. With a lot of veterin actors and a well scripted story it makes the comedy amazing the emotional parts so just enjoyable and life-like.
The animation is truelly special. Few animations can make you feel the general happy pastel like being inanother world yet also feel so real it makes you feel your there as well. Each character is done so perfectly and there isnt a instant of lazy drawing. They even take on the task of showing artwork in motion as characters draw them show-casing the own creaters abilities.
The Entertainment is on a whole new level. It touches nearly every emotion so perfectly. I felt sad when it touches deep emotions, I felt happy when the true heart moments happen. I laughed at all the jokes. Few animes hit the total emotions of the human scope yet still end on a feel good note everytime. I can honestly say I loved all the episodes I cant wait for the next one. I also feel this is a show I could watch at least 3-7 times and not grow tired of it at all.
If you like comedy, slice of life, or just awesome stories this is a must see.
Some good animes have come out but this one is the top of the list for this yr and in one of my all time favorites.
