The series revolves around three teams consisting of a weapon meister and (at least one) human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" and thus fit for use by the academy's headmaster, Shinigami (better known as Death God), they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and one witch, in that order; otherwise, they will have to restart all over again |

Just trying to bring this back to 5 stars, since there is no question, as far as I'm concerned, that this is one of the best animes out there. Even more so in contrast to the amount of mediocre animes on this website with 5 stars, seemingly for no reason, with like 3 episodes out. souleater = must watch and is complete, and was on most popular or watched anime list on animeaccess for as long as i can remember. Done
