| Summary: |
Something bizarre has come over the land. The kingdom is deteriorating. People are beginning to act strange... What's even more strange is that people are beginning to see dragons, which shouldn't enter the world of humans. Due to all these bizarre events, Ged, a wandering wizard, is investigating the cause. During his journey, he meets Prince Arren, a young distraught teenage boy. While Arren may look like a shy young teen, he has a severe dark side, which grants him strength, hatred, ruthlessness and has no mercy, especially when it comes to protecting Teru. For the witch Kumo this is a perfect opportunity. She can use the boy's "fears" against the very one who would help him, Ged. |

Great Start for Goro Miyazaki!

I am a HUGE fan of Hayao Miyazki, so one day when I was doing a little research, I found out that he had a son that made a few movies and decided to check them out. 'Tales From the Earthsea' was the first movie I watched, made by Goro Miyazaki and I wasn't at all disappointed by the movie.
To be completely honest, I have nothing bad to say about this movie; this was an awesome movie and I can't wait to see more of his movies in the future. WARNING: Studio Ghibli movies tend to have a lot of depth and meaning to them, so all movies like this shouldn't be watched if you're expecting a lot of action and killing in it. Ghibli movies are made with a lot of passion and fresh ideas that make everyone want to watch it over and over again. :)
So far, I have every Studio Ghibli movie to date and I plan on collecting all the upcoming ones in the future (if that gives you an idea how much I like the studio) :)
