I could only watch the first episode. It's not like how some scary movies or thrillers are creepy. It's oh dear god, are they about to get naked and do it right now? creepy. Because of the plot (the main guy is actually a girl reincarnated) it's a little gay, which isn't the real problem. I don't like this whole romance genre where it's nothing but a slow striptease to the final act of consummation. And since they're two animated dudes isn't helping it either. At one point the main character is laying with some kids in bed, which in other shows might not be as creepy, but here it was. He had his hand over some girls chest, just resting there, but he was staring longingly at her. It doesn't help that the animation is done so that the children are drawn so they just look like midget versions of the other characters. All the girls are cute in it, and the guys are mostly drawn to be cute and feminine too, but this includes the little kids. Like I've said, CREEPY. Then there are lots of scenes in the first episode where people are like eye to eye with one another, looking like they're about to get it on. In the intro, there's lots of this, in the episodes there are lots of this. And this whole suspense-thing going along with if Yuki is actually gay now, or not, is not helping. If they would say he is, then I wouldn't be on edge wondering. If they would say he's not, (and they do kind of hint that he's not) it wouldn't be as creepy since a lot of his interaction are with other men. As it is now, I can't watch any more.
Beyond the creepy factor, the dialogue is rather sucky and blunt. "Yuki, you look so cute but you're also strong! We're your fans. He's weird, they say his mother almost killed him a few times." yadda yadda yadda. It's not only clear, it's beating you over the head with it so even the dumbest of viewers will understand every thing they intend. Then you have the protector demon thing saying "I won't betray you. I will save you." Which you can take one of two ways. He's lying or he's not. But there's no real evidence either way so when it comes to the decisive moment, the writer can be like "what? you thought he'd be bad? Naw, I never said that. Look what he said before!" OR "you actually believed him? how ridiculous, it's so obvious....to me....cuz I made it up." Then some dialogue is just illogical: "He acts like the good guy. It's all gone to his head! I know what he really is" blah this guy is obviously crazy since we're following him around for the whole time and see no faults whatever except the cliche caring more about others than myself routine which puts him in dangerous situations, which almost no one actually does.
Then there's the cliches. Guy can't remember anything, but he knows its important. Dreams tell him of his past life. How often do we actually dream about the past? Maybe people from the past, but rarely about actual events. Then he's an orphan, and very popular and very strong and loves children and has no goddam faults except what one character imagines.
Honestly, this seems to be for the women in response to all the panties and big boobs in other animes. I apologize, but that stuff is at least laughable. The way this comes off is straight up creepy and trite.
