Going home for his grandfather's funeral, thirty-year-old bachelor Daikichi is floored to discover that the old man had an illegitimate child with a younger lover! The rest of his family is equally shocked and embarrassed by this surprise development, and not one of them wants anything to do with the silent little girl, Rin. The main characters are very well animated, especially Rin is very cute, so that you will wish she was your own daughter. The story is very nice and detailed. It looks like the produces put very much effort to this anime. Animation is very qualified and detailed. The story is very emotional and unique. I didn't exaggerate it giving 5 stars to anime, it really deserves it. This anime is turely a masterpiece.
