Set in a gothic fantasy world, this is the story of Teito Klein, an orphaned slave who became the top military academy student. However, an unexpected turn of events left him pursued by the forces of the Barsburg Empire. Now an escaping convict, Teito's sheltered by the church and it’s law of sanctuary. Here, he discovered many mysteries surrounding himself, the church, and the Empire itself. The fact that he might be connected to a dethroned king and the mystical stone of god, 'The Eye of Mikhael' made him the target of the empire more than ever. Fortunately the church is under the mythical 7 Ghost protection. But who are the Ghosts really. Will Teito be free from the military's clutch, And what of his said mission to uncover the history. And who is the military's Chief-of-Staff Ayanami exactly. Teito's future seems to have spiraled into an unexpectedly perilous path. |

it has no good story with meaningless ending that u can't understad what happen to the main charechter.
althought it is really strong about animation.
its Dialogue is really poor that u cant find out anything.

It was supposed to be a good series, and it started off quite okay. As it went on, it became more and more boring, and somehow cliched. The ending was not good either, leaving the plot half-hanging (I know many more others did that, but this was worse). A very big let-down to the manga lovers of this series, though the graphics were really good.
Those who go for graphics, give it a try; but those who love nice plots, I advice you not to waste your time watching this.

If your a person who just began exploring the world of anime perhaps it would be best to watch this. The story was new and fresh artwork is good and music were great but I guess perhaps because I've watched quite a few anime my bar was set a lil high.
For instance, I was at first interested in the story and thought it was going to get good yet, the story failed to progress unlike many others. They just talked about random stuff and were never really trying to develop the story. I found it boring and the main character was just too depressing ( read more)

This is totally In My Opinion, I just found it ominous and a real turn off. And yes i watched till the end. the only thing that I found worthwhile was seeing the ghost with the scythe that was awesome ( show less)

This anime was pretty boring and a waste of my time. I couldn’t bear watching the rest of it in fact; maybe it gets better after ep 10.... I would not know, what I do know is if you’re into slow, boring and unexciting anime this is the right choice

All I want to say about this one is that it was a waste of my time!!
It has nothing to offer. You start watching it hoping that events will improve or some kind of twist to the story line will happen but nothing!
Even the fighting scenes they are not impressive at all! During the whole series I was waiting for something interesting and serious to happen but I was wrong.

this anime has a good story and the characters are easy to love. i'm a lover of action however and there wasn't really much. the story didn't keep me on the edge of my seat either. it kind of ends in a cliffhanger where you're left to figure out what you think would happen. it's a good anime to watch for the sake of watching anime. i'd agree with giving it a chance though the story could be better.
