Reading the synopsis I thought that this was going to be a really good anime, just cause I'm part of a war buff. It's just disappointing that the story falls flat almost instantly. Well I should say the execution of the story falls flat. I only got as far as 4 episodes on Lillia's story arc and pretty much gave up there. After episode 2 the story pretty much goes nowhere and we just seem to get a bunch of pointless filler episodes that have nothing to do with anything. Although there is still the Allison portion of the series that might be better, but I have yet to try it out. Hopefully it will be better than Lillia's story arc, I can't imagine it being any worse. I can't really think of anybody to recommend this anime to just because the story is just soo lame. (show less)

let me warn you, don't waste your time with this anime, it's truly dissapointing when it comes to story and character devoloping and the animotion doesn't make it better.
it is truly pathetic when it comes to acting for instance when the princess was taken hostage, you could see everything coming from a mile away. after that episode i gave up on trying.
you can see that everything is put in scene just like in a movie. it hasn't got the air of a real world, this anime is hopeless, i just ga it a few stars for the potential it had if it focused more on the main characters and the airplanes. (show less)

When I watched the first episode of this, I got bored after the first 3 min. Then I decided to give another chance, the end of the first episode was amazing. I continued, and I've realized a pattern in this anime. The beginning of every arc is amazing, compelling, glues you to the screen. The end is unsatisfying, annoying and makes you reconsider why on God's green earth did you decide on watching this. The animation was a tad bit annoying; I did not understand why the noses stopped half way >>" The story -was- good, but really there are somethings that got on my nerves, and some obvious loose ends by the end of it that were never tied up. And after watching something like Naruto, where they enter wars to fight for their 'bonds' you find this, where people cut off their 'bonds' for war and they make it seem ... heroic? To me it's plain selfish and double standard especially concerning the male protagonist Wil. He was the biggest disappointment ... very promising and logical, cunning the first half of the series ... then ... Well, you can watch it for yourself, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't compelled to a certain extent, I just wish it was better. (show less)
