In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers. |

The anime might seem absolutely pointless, but it is really well done. The romance is touching and each character's story sends shivers down my spine when I read it and imagine how sad it would be to be in their positions. The anime might be set in a very non-realistic place, but the character's emotions seem very real. The music for this anime is also amazing, it is definitely worth watching

Commenting on the previous review, I agree on the part that this is a well made anime and that the story gets really deep at the end, however there is one thing that really bothered me in this anime. It's logic. The characters spend half the episodes fighting this "angel" and then suddenly starts asking themselves "why the fuck are we fighting her?"and then the other guy's like, '"I don't know. Maybe we're just retarded spartans?" then they become friends with her???? (Wtf?). If you get really sentimental, then good for you, but i rarely get emtionally ( read more)

I rarely watch new anime buy this year I randomly download an episode if the series interest ne I download the whole series , and well angel beats is awesome, its funny keeps you thinking and the ending is just something else I am a dude and even I got like a weird feeling like wow, didnt cry mind you but the show is amazing I recommend it to any one,

I wished Angel Beats! had more episodes. Not because I thought it was so good (I'm not saying it isn't) but because the story had so much more potential. In my opinion most mysteries were left unsolved and the ending didn't really make that much sense. That's about all the bad things I can say about the plot. The setting was interesting and the characters that got a background got a good one.
The cast has some great characters and the conversations between them can be really funny from time to time.

This was a fairly different anime compared to most others out there right now. The story is top notch and like nothing I've ever seen before, and incredibly touching, especially the ending.
The dialogue was really good for most of the anime, but there are a few cringe-worthy spots, and a few characters who just make you want to gouge your own ears out, but it didn't ruin the experience as a whole.
The animation was very good for 90% of the anime, but there are a few hiccups that keep it from being truly excellent.

this anime..well i would say it has a very special or should i say unique story line that makes me wanna follow the series even more....the animating good..nice character design...overall if u are interested in a little unique plot and story line u guys should check this anime out
