I wished Angel Beats! had more episodes. Not because I thought it was so good (I'm not saying it isn't) but because the story had so much more potential. In my opinion most mysteries were left unsolved and the ending didn't really make that much sense. That's about all the bad things I can say about the plot. The setting was interesting and the characters that got a background got a good one.
The cast has some great characters and the conversations between them can be really funny from time to time.
The animation's good but I got the impression they were a bit lazy sometimes.
I looked forward to each episode of Angel Beats! though it wasn't a series I could keep watching for a long time. I liked the start of the opening as well.
