Ichinomiya Kou has always lived according to the creed of his wealthy, successful family: never be in debt to anyone. But one day, under the Arakawa Bridge, his life is saved by a homeless girl named Nino. In order to pay her back, Kou promises to be her boyfriend; and thus begins his new life under the bridge. |

This is a bit of an older show but holds up well in 2022.
So this show is absolutely ridiculous. Don't even try to make sense of some of the lunacy in this show.
That said it is absolutely hilarious. Some of the jokes had me in stitches laughing.
So the shows premise is even ridiculous. The main characters family has a tradition to under no circumstances be in debt. The lengths they go through just to maintain that is crazy. Unfortunately Kou, the main, ends up having his life being saved by Nino a homeless girl. As repayment for the debt ( read more)

Stuck to his never having a debt he dedicates all of his being into her request. With that she expects him to also live in the riverside homeless.
Don't put too much thought into this one. just enjoy it for what it is an absolutely bonkers comedy.
There is also a season 2/Sequel which I am yet to see.

First of all this anime will make you laugh and smile a lot. Others expect that this is the kind of typical romance anime you know, but it's not. the uniqueness of the characters, especially the heroine makes the difference.
I describe nino as a weird kind of girl but still she knows what to do when ric is in trouble or has problems.
I recommend to keep watching this until the end because some episodes are quite touching too, especially about nino and ric.

Those who find anything boring about other anime , this anime will make you keep laughing as you watch it ;) A lot of amazing character under the arakawa bridge. You will find very funnny when you come to see it ^^ Story is about nino and recruit spending time together with many amazing character under the bridge. I think the bridge that you see in anime is real and does have it , maybe you can go visit the bridge ;P Worth watching anime wich keep your emotion :) There is two season altogether, remember to continue watch the season 2 (arakawa under ( read more)

This anime is very entertaining, it is random with lovable characters. The story is about a, well, a ridiculously wealthy young man who duo to his upbringing from his stubborn and well, awkward father (watch it and youll understand lol) that he ended up in a small community of societies misfits who made their home under a bridge.

It's a story of a High class boy Kou who got teached by his father not to rely on anyone Being a lover to Nino who saved Kou's life, Nino is a girl who is like aside from normal people from the city like a nomad to me .. Thus their love adventure begins~! It has full of funny moments and cute scenes that can crack you up ... Try it, it will satisfy you p/s i cant wait for the second season XD
