Right after I read the plot synopsis I thought the concept sounded hilariously entertaining. And I was right. The show is suprisingly well paced, being very action-packed, but still finds time to throw in humour and some emotional scenes. There were some supernatural and sci-fi aspects I didnt see coming, but I enjoyed them nonetheless. The characters seemingly start out as not much more than tropes, but get some development as the show goes on. I wish they would have had a few more episodes to resolve a few unanswered plot points. The animation is amazing, although the character designs themselves are a bit bland, therefore I cant give it the highest grade. All in all, a fairly solid action-show that´s easy to get into, yet still has a little depth.

PS! For all you horndogs out there, I will say that the fanservice in the show is a lot less than subtle, and there is also plenty of it, so enjoy :D (show less)

This anime peaked my interest before it came out and while I was dissapointed in it, its not a bad anime. To start off I was hoping for a more mature lineup of characters but i should have known better with them still being in highschool (I was hoping for another Angel Beats). The generic character designs, generic love stories/triangles, off topic plots, and limmited action keep it from being what it could be. Also they try to bring in an epic hero aspect to it and fail miserably.I will also give this anime a minor echi alert for those who either like or dislike that. Those things aside there is enough to keep you watching at a leisurely pace (show less)

Rie Kugimiya as flat chested tsundere loli? Who would've guessed. Production value is great, the graphics are so detailed. Story is only average, so far nothing has happened that made me think "DAMN! That's godlike", not to say the story is boring, cause it isn't. I am only judging after watching a few episodes, and the pace managed to picked up fairly fast, instead of spending a lot of time on introducing heroines, like harems usually do. Let's hope the quality of both graphics and story doesn't decline.
p.s. If you are watching subs, be prepared for rubbish subs. The subber tends to put in a lot romanji, so if you don't know a particular romanji they decide not to translate. You're going to have to pause and read the wall of text the subber provide to explain one word. (show less)
