This was a bit slow to grab my attention, probably the 3rd or 4th episode, but it turned out to be a great show full of entertainment value. I could not believe that it ended when I just wanted to see and hear more. If you like music and wanna see something interesting watch this.

When watching an anime I usually expect to get the whole plot and point by the end of the first episode, or at least the beginning of the second. With BECK, I'm afraid this isn't happening. The slow movement of this anime combined with the mediocre animation is making it hard to watch, and I'm finding myself checking the time to see if I'm almost done with the episode. Being a mostly talk anime without much action, I find myself wondering what the point of it is. I have to give it to them, the animation of the hands strumming and playing the guitar ( read more)

I have to give it to them, the animation of the hands strumming and playing the guitar is simply amazing, but is that all that they want us to see? The character development is moving slowly, and I'm not liking the characters as much as I feel they want me to. ( show less)

This is a pretty good show to watch, if you don't mind this type of anime. I caught this on the Funimation Channel and decided to watch the Japanese version. It was still good in Japanese, but when they speak in English it's just bad! It honestly sounded like all English in the show was done by the same voice actor. No disrespect to the voice actor, but he sounded retarded (literally).
