The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent", Oga Tatsumi, a first year in "Ishiyama High" the school for delinquents. One day while sleeping next to a river he sees a man floating down it, he pulls him to shore and the man splits in half revealing a baby boy. This boy is the son of the demon king and he has been chosen as the one to raise it with the baby's demon maid Hilda. The story follows his life with the child and at the delinquent school.
To some degree I was slightly disappointed in the start as they did change the beginning from the manga! On the other hand the changes weren't really such a big thing. Such as the talk between Oga and Furuichi. In the manga it takes place at Furuichi's home. In the anime it takes place at school. There were a few added scenes which for the most part were pretty much funny(Baby Beel tossing the sandwich down the hall to torment the people), and then there were some scenes that seemed to be out of order from when they happened(Abe the Killer). Along with some of the scenes with Baby crying. Episode 1 is pretty much a mish mash of Chapters 1 & 2 of the manga.
Good:
Still funny as hell
drawing style
Bad:
changes are scary - You never know how certain changes will end up impacting the story
