Ten years after the Holy War in Hong Kong, Mochizuki Jirou, aka the Silver Blade, and the lone hero who fought and defeated the Kowloon Children despite the loss of his lover, returns to Japan with his young brother, Mochizuki Kotaro. The two quickly discover that the Kowloon Children who survived the Holy War are seeking to infiltrate the “Special Zone”—a thriving city protected by an invisible barrier that will not allow Kowloon Children entrance—unless they’re invited. Red Bloods refer to the humans; Black Bloods are the vampires, and the Mochizuki Brothers are Old Blood—the last descendants of an elite clan of vampires. When Kotaro is abducted by one of the Kowloon Children, Jirou has no choice but to fight once more. |

It's not too violent and the story line is okay... I suggest you watch them before having any thought. I love it and they can still improve if we would like them to be a little bit violent..haha :)
Anyway, enjoy the anime and give them chance before deciding whether they are good or not :D

it is great and fun you cannot how much you lough while watching it

I really did enjoy this anime. Like it says in the title I'm not a fan of vampires, but it was good. It could of gone longer finished a bit oddly, they should either bring out a second season or more episodes. I found it to be real good.

I feel that this anime ended to early and as people have already said there are too many loose ends. Mind you these loose ends would be sufficient for a second season but unfortunately it never came. Definitely worth watching but I felt a disappointed by this promising storyline being cut short.

Very enjoyable, there seems like there should be more with the way the show was left off, too many loose ends.
The anime is very well put together, has a good amount of comedic value.
In a way it is like a lesser version of Hellsing, lots of action, just not as much gore or insanity, but still very good.
Each episode starts with a short flashback, so if your watching this and get confused in the second episode, dont worry its all part of the story.

I agree with mike75 (below). This is probably the first anime I've watched before reading the manga and I actually prefer the anime. It has a good story and that I prefer to be told by instead of having to read it myself (could be cos I'm lazy though >>) anyway, WATCH IT :P

I love Black Blood Brothers. Its funny and very entertaining and I can't help but watch it over and over again. It has just the right amount of seriousness and comedy that it keeps you waiting to see the next episode. This anime series is the prequel to the manga. The quality of the consistency goes down a little bit in the last couple episodes, things like burning in the sunlight and breathing underwater, but overall it is an excellent mini-series.

there are different clans of vampires living among humans and protecting the special city.
a new bloody clan wants to infiltrate the city.
Silver blade also cums and helps in protecting the city.
Loved kotaro he is so cute and whoever done his voice job has done well.
