(LONG STORY SHORT)

girls at school who lives in a temple with her father...she's a really dizzy person...nice and friendly everyone like her.

at night she fights demons...kills the demons...and everytime they die they say strange thinsg to her that shes doesnt understand.

later she finds out shes a vampire and everyone in the town (school) are actors only taking part because they want a reward...and also turns out the Vampire girl suffers from memory loss.

the whole show was to her her recover her momory slowly...but its takes longer than expected so the actors rush things which is against their contract, they cant be bothered to act any more.

as a result they DIE...and everyone else in the town are no longer needed.

trust me when i tell you...(can't rememeber the episode number)...but the student in the school get fucked up Harrrrd... and eposide 12... EVERYONE gets fucked...you understand why the show is called BLOOD

First of all I feel like I should point out that I am a huge fan of both the Blood franchise as well as CLAMP. I just thought that I point that out. I been a fan of CLAMPs works for a long time and have been in love with the Blood franchise for many years. However, this series was a disappointment to me coming from both aspects.

I feel like this series would have been better off as a stand alone original series by CLAMP rather than a part of the Blood franchise. The feeling of this series was different than Blood the Last Vampire or Blood+. (I'm excluding the movie and am only mentioning the animated part of the franchise. Though I have seen that too.) I almost couldn't point out any similarities between the three.

There is plot however it is very slow. Blood+ plot line was slow at first however it picked up after a while. The plot is very slow so if you're looking for a fast pace series this may not be for you. Each episode is pretty much the same even though it does get a bit drastic later on. With all of the events that goes on around, Saya as a character does not seem grow at all. I can not elaborate without giving away spoilers and I do not give away spoilers in my reviews.

Another thing that irritates me about this series is CLAMP decided to make it yet another cross over. I can understand if it was one of their completely original series not based off of another franchise maybe, but another cross over? This series does cross over into the series XXXHolic or rather XXXHolic cross over into this series. If you have not seen xxxHolic the idea may not bother you but the cross over business is beginning to become over done.

CLAMP's drawing style is obvious in the characters and in the scenery as well. There was one too many times during the series when I saw CLAMP's previous characters in Blood-C.

This series could have had potential if CLAMP did not have their hand in it. Character development is almost non-existent and the story line is slow. If you are looking for a fast moving series and if you enjoyed Blood+, this series may not be for you. (show less)

This series was great. So much better than blood+, since there is much more variety to the fights in this show. The plot was very subtle, and there was an aura of mystery surrounding a lot of things which I liked, and the end will probably schock you. As for the fights, they are suprisingly brutal and gory(making blood+ look tame by comparison), so if you are squeamish, you should probably skip this show. Characters were done well considering the short amount of episodes and the style of animation was beautiful(loved the shool uniforms, but what was up with those chains?) and fit the show like a glove. All in all fantastic show. But don´t go into it expecting a continuity from the previous Blood installments, it seems very vaguely connected. (show less)
