This is a story about Saya a vampire hunter that hunts vampires with her samurai sword while wearing a highschool girls' school uniform (so many cool adjectives in one sentence here). Released in 2000, this anime can be classified as an anime that can withstand the test of time in terms of you can watch it today and it will still be as fun and entertaining as it was to the fans that watched it 12 years ago. Amazingly drawn, the mood and tone of this anime is phenomenal. The story is short and uncomplicated (so as you can concentrate more on the action scenes). If you have not seen it DO IT NOW.
