I watched this on a lazy sunday afternoon and was overall greatly impressed with the mix of reality and fantasy; school yard bullies, contradicting viewpoints and ghost stories. Although some of the storyline played out like a slower kiddie version of a FF instalment; a number of the characters could have been developed further but I suppose this was covered in the manga / Book.

Although probably considered dated and cliched by many of the younger viewers; for this 50 something male I would consider it to be a fine contender to anything that the Ghibli studio put out. Overall an enjoyable / emotional romp with good animation, a fine story and a sensible / mature ending. (show less)

This is a great movie and a must watch for all ages, small and tall.
The story is a touching and heart warming one and you just can't help but be happy at the end of this no matter what mood you are in.
For all the gamers out there you might find some losely based bits in this game in relation to general rpgs so you'll crack up a bit more i reckon.

Basicly this is about two boys, who trys to escape reality, (can't say to much more or it will spoil it)

Anyway this is a 10/10 movie and needs to be watch.
