Summary: In the near future, Tokyo was left flattened as a result from a great earthquake. A new city, MegaTokyo, was then recreated due in no small part from the aid of a multi-million dollar company, Genom Corp. Genom created and mass-produced biomechanical creatures called Boomers to aid in the restoration of MegaTokyo. When the Boomers began to run out of control, the ADPolice at first tried to stop them, but they proved to be far more difficult to deal with than was first imagined. Under the ever looming Boomer threat, a group of four girls from varying degrees of society banded together. Calling themselves The Knight Sabers, they were the only ones with enough firepower and resourcefullness to defend the fledgling MegaTokyo from Genom and it's berserk Boomers.

I´m a little torn on this anime. I wanted to like it more than I actually did, but at some places it just falls flat. There were some scenes that had great potential for some emotional value, but they didn´t get all the way there. But it had some fun characters(always a treat to see a main cast full of women in these action stories) and an intresting story, although there are some unanswered questions that I would have liked to see elaborated on. Oh well, let´s hope the sequels are better. Anyways it´s an 80´s sci-fi anime, if you like that (read more)

I have yet to watch the episodes on this site, but I have watched the original laserdisk release and this show has a little bit of everything.
The dialog is wonderful, though some of the translations I have seen and not that great, the original japanese voice cast did a wonderful job.
The action scenes are also very good and they flow well. Considering the time this anime was created the quality is very good.
I highly recommend watching this show. ^.^
