Truly, on first sight I thought, what the hell? I will NEVER watch this. This is ridicolous! But...
the situations are sometimes so hilarious and honestly I like the balance between serious/sad and funny or even gross scenes. IF you cannot handle GORE stuff, well, then I might be disgusted by an accidently vomit-kiss or the way our Chainsaw man is slicing up zombies and other foes. But Denji's reasoning for being a good guy is sometimes so ridicolous and funny, that you just cannot stop laughting while shaking your head over the missing empathy of him. Or maybe its just the fact how simple minded he can be when it comes down to his "checklist". ROFL.
Powers backstory is kind of cute/adorable and even though she is a lunatic you must love her for being who she is. the OST is great and the OP is always the same (my favourite!!!) while the EDs change every episode! Very refreshing.
Still there are many interesting characters and a few, that you will miss deeply, when they are gone. But damn, even in death some devil hunters can kick some asses! That Anime is absolutely worth watching! And if you are not into it after 3-5 episodes, you are probably right to pass it, since taste differs. thats fine then. But give it a try.
I was surprised in the most positiv way I could imagine and I cannot wait for season 2!!! T_T

But be warned... their is one person... which might be the biggest foe of all and I refuse the read the manga any further, since things are getting very messy... so.. no spoilers... but... you better have some tissues at hand, since you might start crying like a kid, when... well... like I said... no spoilers... but be prepared!
