The Death Note series was one of the most entertaining anime series I have watched. Each character was well thought out and was relatable whether it was the protagonist or antagonist, which might vary depending on the viewer.
The story centers on Light, who finds a Death Note one night. The Death Note's power is to kill anyone whose name is written it. Light decides to use this power for the good of the world by killing criminals. Death Note draws a very thin line between good and evil and Light walks that line very well IMO.
However, not everyone see Light's work as good and the police call in L to catch this murderer of criminals that can't be found. A rivalry begins between Light and L to see which person can outsmart the other and become the last one standing.
