This is definitely the kind of anime to watch curled up under your bedcovers at one o'clock in the morning - when you're looking for entertainment, but nothing too taxing. It's so bad it's good. In fact, it's worse than bad, which makes it more than good. The sheer entertainment value of watching poor Yui get tossed back and forth between vampires who want nothing more than to taunt her and suck her blood. Personally, I found Vampire Knight much more effective in terms of story and appeal (since both are aimed at girls). The sadism element is played to its maximum, and underdeveloped, but who cares, really? The whole show is hilarious. XD Well worth a watch, providing you don't take it seriously. (show less)

Firstly, I must rant on how short the episodes are. There's no time for any progress except to watch the brothers torture and suck the poor girls blood dry. Yes I KNOW, it's a vampire genre so yeah..

- The story hasn't moved anywhere except a few hints here and there for whats to come but other than that? Just lots of sucking...I'm surprised she hasn't died with all that blood loss. Though, you'll get a peak at the brothers past, albiet the moment will be whisked away before it makes sense, but you'll be intruiged.

- The characters aren't much...You'll hate them honestly, until one of them does the unthinkable *You'll know what I mean when you reach episode 6* and that's that..I can't say I'm happy with the personalities but the animation is beautiful. It's eye candy for us.

- Dialogue, hmmm. I'll have to say it's decent.

Lots of cringe-worthy moments and moments that'll have your heartbeat racing. I suggest giving the first two episodes a try and decide whether you'll want to ride this one out and hope they story will get a move on.

P.S Music! This is helping keep the show exciting. You have to download the soundtrack, it's all gothic and gospel. Fits perfectly with the show, it's magical to listen to. (show less)

The description for this can be quite deceiving, for that fact that you never learn much of the girls story from the get go. I wouldn't even know that supernatural things happened to her when she was younger just by watching.

I find this anime to move a long very slowly, being approx 10 mins of actual content, which I completely understand coming from a VN. But I can't help but think that the people who have played the VN would be enjoying this more than others who have no idea what is going on.

Never the less, I know something big is gonna happen and I'd hope sooner than later because this has a plot, for sure. It's either they release the episodes more than once a week or make them longer. I know everything is already set in terms of it being 12 episodes, but 10 mins is not enough for me to actively look out for and want to watch the next episode in a week. (show less)

Alright so, big fan of supernatural/vampires etc. Kinda thought this was gonna be like Vampire Knights which it isn't and not a big deal. I'm just so mad at how shitty this is developing. I'm on episode 4 atm and every episode just makes me hate the writer more and more. *Minor spoilers*
An example of wtf, 1 of the characters calls the female(can't remember her name cause they never call her it often enough)Bitch-chan like its some *catchy* saying, all the males treat her like shit(cattle, but in a more annoying way) and she just takes it, she has no defense, like no awesome get the hell off me powers. 2 of the brothers currently just bite her and drink her blood like it's nothing, shes completely helpless, and then they just move on like she can't ever do anything about it. Honestly I can't stand watching this anime, this thing makes me wanna just punch the shit out of the guy who decided this was ok to do.
I mean vampires yes, can be spoiled, rich, stuck up or w/e but the way they just completely degrade the *MAIN* female character in this is astounding to me. What they were thinking when they released this, and how to incorporate the stories of the main cast by completely shitting on the main heroine is in bad taste, even if there were some redeeming facts that come to surface, by that point I'm past forgiveness and don't care. The story is beyond salvaging in my eyes, unless she becomes Super Fang and kills them all by the last episode. Sorry Diabolik Lovers, your animation and soundtrack is good, just poor intro and developing :O. (show less)
