- earlier eps are hard to follow if you're completely new to the series (started this off, didn't get what was going on, read the manga, came back, and suddenly understood.... lol)
- rather simple-minded here or there, very very random villain
- pace and artwork aren't always consistent... but that's minor

conclusion: a pretty good watch among all the famous shounen, keeps you hooked with a mixture of action and drama, and its comedy doesn't ridicule the charas. also explains a lot more of the background from the original fma. personally, i like this better than the original version, but a lot of people might not agree with me there.

the main reason I love it is how the anime series is focused on the main story right from the start. ( no fillers, I think, coz I nvr read the manga )
I nvr watch fma but fma brotherhood seems to be interesting so I give it a try.
The story IS twisted but not that twisted. Get it? xD The main goal is for the elric brothers to gain their leg, arm and the whole body for alphonse, and that is the story from the very beginning until the end. Though there were suprises along the way. It is not too complicated.
I have to be honest though, what really hook me to this anime was really the tearjerking scene at the beginning where edward sacrificed his arm for his brother. :') so touching.

I liked this anime alot even though i didn't watch the orginal or read the manga so im purely writing this solely on this anime. the story was well thoughout and had alot of plot twists and interesting developments however i was confused about the ending but anyway there was a nice mix of action, filler episodes, character focus and comedy to keep me entertained throughout the series. another point that i liked this anime than other popular animes such as Bleach is that it has an ending. this anime is quite long but its well worth it. some reviewers have mentioned that this anime has a rushed start and the first episode rushes into the action without introducing the characters properly however to me that works in its favour of grabbing the viewers (and my) attention. there are a few disppointments with this anime such as certain revelations could have been saved and revealed later in the series to give more suspense. the characters both main and supporting are convincing and there backstories give rise to some very good episodes. overall this is a very entertaining anime that caters for all. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is an anime like none other. It's got a great story, good action and characters you'll grow to love. The main plot is about two brothers trying to get their real bodys back. On the way they will face strong and dangerous foes.

Story: I gave storyline an Excellent because the storyline really stands out. It's one of those that includes lots of twists and turns. It's also one of those that you can watch over and over, and not get bored. The storyline starts of slow like a lot of other animes, but as it progresses it gets more and more intense.

Dialogue: The Dialogue is fair. It's got some not so good parts (like everything) but it's still very good. It makes it so that the characters are lovable and at the same time "evil" and "cool".

Animation: From what I've seen the animation is amazing. It's really good looking, realistic anime wise. HD makes it 10x better. If you're one of them "I only watch high quality, amazingly animated animes" then this is one you should try.

Entertainment: It's great. It's entertaining, funny, theres action, drama, and lots of adventure. All the category's have been blended in so well. It did get a bit boring at parts (for me). But the other 95% of the anime is all awesomeness.

Conclusion: This anime is defiantly a top favorite. It's got so many cool things involved. If you like anime with Drama, action, adventure and comedy. I highly, highly recommend this. You won't be disappointed.
