As exellent as the 1st GIG introduce a sci-fi touched reality, the 2nd GIG continues. The storyline establishs a well-conceived plot with a nice tension built-up, which makes you desire to watch the next episode. Also the content fits awesome into the political and social environment from the other parts.
The animation itself satisfies any requirement i would personal request from an anime and it fits well into the scenario.

Overall GitS is worth watching if you like sci-fi touched, well-conceived realites with a tension filled storyline and (read more)
