Golden Boy is perverted laugh riot. The story follows Kintaro Oie as he wanders Japan working on part time jobs, learning about life, but mostly getting into some kind of situation that qualifies as sexual harassment.

This is hand down one of the funniest anime's I've watched in awhile, and that's just because of the combo of a funny script and the over the top english dub that just blows the original japanese out of the water. Not to mention the early 90's animation that still holds up pretty well.

I got hooked after the first episode, its borderline perverse nature just leads into more funny situations.

Ok, I first saw Golden Boy back in the days of VHS. My knowledge of anime at the time was VERY limited as a result. I was in stitches by the end of the first episode, and while the plot was thin and basic, it was a funny series. Looking back, if I was to watch it again (and thats a sign I enjoyed it, some series I'll watch and never see again) I'd still find it funny (if for different reasons of course).

If you expect serious or deep humor, this isnt it. But if you're looking for something that is light and funny, with lots of goofball antics, you should definitely watch Golden Boy. Don't watch this if you have issues with humor that can be seen as low brow (or as some call it toilet humor), but if you appreciate a good laugh, regardless of its origin, again, definitely watch this.
