There's lots to like about Hatsukoi Ltd, starting with the opening sequence by Sphere! In fact that was one of the reasons this series was on my 'must watch' list to begin with. Ok, that, and the romance.

Hatsukoi Ltd is a great romantic short series that doesn't stray to far off the beaten path but still manages to wring laughter and perhaps some tears from you. As the synopsis states, it does involve multiple characters and the story has several intertwining threads that can be somewhat complicated at times but it does a good job of keeping the story moving and tying those threads together (for the most part!) in the end. Bravo!

Technically, the artwork is very well done. It's not my favourite style of animation but it works and it isn't over the top especially considering some of the 'borderline' ecchi content. I have to give 2 thumbs up for the music in this series. I was already a fan of Sphere so I love the OP but the ED really grabbed me too and has become a new addition to my anime music library! The band is called 'marble' and they also do the OP in one of my other favourite romantic series - Kimikiss! Check it out!

Overall a great short series that has plenty of happy endings and doesn't leave you hanging like a lot of short series are wont to do.

Highly recommended!

Ugh. "Evil is good" trope making its way into yet another anime. Oh, a nun saying that as long as the demon and the others...
