Remake of the 1999 TV series of Hunter x Hunter based on the manga by Togashi Yoshihiro. A Hunter is one who travels the world doing all sorts of dangerous tasks. From capturing criminals to searching deep within uncharted lands for any lost treasures. Gon is a young boy whose father disappeared long ago, being a Hunter. He believes if he could also follow his father\'s path, he could one day reunite with him. |

I have watched the old anime
then this came out in 2011
I have since been watching - it has been great that it didnt take 50+ eps like to old one to get them to the hunter exam - but the old one seemed to flow much better
i am on ep116 now
and it seems to hold out fight scenes for unnecessary dialogue (boring and old school)
absolutely pointless narrative (i mean really bad "filler" / time wasting type)
if it keeps going on like this ...
then good luck....cos it'll just end up like naruto and lose all its first gen viewers like myself who ( read more)

when i watched the first episode of this remake. it was kinda different than the previous one. the flow of story is the same. characters the same. but i get this feeling that the previous one was better. i dnt like the way the characters are portrayed in the hxh remake. the previous one was better. i find gon and killua COOLER AND BETTER from the old one than the remake. the remake made them look akward. idk. its my opinion. i judge the anime on how the characters are delivered. and i found the older one BETTER than new one. oh well. it doesnt really ( read more)

I think HXH 2011 is more childish; i make sure that from ep 3 from ((Satotz)) walk,and especially killua... killua well-known is a mysterious and cold boy, but rarely he become an Innocent boy that is why he is attractive; however, in this series he became more childish... i feel his drawing is cute like i wanna make him medal, but i love the previous drawing of him.The only thing that i liked from this new one...their fights and their movements_in ep 7_ ; anyway, if anyone didn`t watch the original one,naturally, she or he`ll like this new version, ( read more)

Maybe i'm biased BUT Hunter X Hunter have always been my favourite anime and i practically grew up with it but this Anime although it's like the original at some parts but they cut off so may parts that doesn't explain so many things that the original does let alone the manga
I am fine with the animation but the entertainment value has went down and if you really want to watch Hunter X Hunter WATCH THE ORIGINAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's WAYYYYYYYY BETTER XD this series is both rushed and a TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!! They could have just stuck to continuing ( read more)
