One of those cute and lovely stories that you won't forget easily.
Kuragehime (don't be fooled by the title) is that kind of story that you definetely don't wanna miss.

Just when I was looking for something truly good, not just a superficial anime, I "bumped" into this.
And I'm glad I decided to watch it.

- The characters are so unique and interesting, their weirdness is hilarious.
- Personally, I really like this kind of art and animation; clean and proportioned (kinda)
- The dialogues are comical, but they also have their dramatic side.
- The plot itself is very special - you probably thought it was just ANOTHER of those gender bender, but again, it's nothing like what you'd expect. Well, maybe yeah, but in a way that makes it different. -

Well that quote sorta applies this anime. At first I ignored it but when I watched the 1st episode of the series, I was like"I'm totally wrong".

It was one of those hilarious and funny anime I'm looking for. The storyline is cute and somehow different, a cross-dresser and a nerdy jellyfish loving-girl, it's totally awesome. I love the characterization of each individual in this story plus the art is too cute and way too girly.. It's a much watch, promise you wont waste your time with this one..

It was open-ended and was kinda hoping for another season!

Unfortunately, the anime is short and so much of the actual story isn't covered in great detail. However, what it does cover is what I find to be one of the more unique approaches to a story about a plain, otaku girl. But because it's only 11 episodes long, it also doesn't feel as conclusive as it could be. But who knows? Maybe they'll have OVAs planned for the future.
The art takes a bit of getting used to, but I find it's appropriate and likable enough. On the other hand, I found it difficult sometimes to keep up with the otaku tendencies of the side characters (it was still hilarious enough that it didn't matter too much). (show less)

I hate ugly girls, all the girls in this anime are extremely ugly, even the supposed pretty ones are disgusting to look at. The animation would be fairly decent for this day and age if the drawings of the female male character weren't so hideous. awkward girls are not fun to look at, they are disgusting and should all go to the tyra show for a make over, or executed.

if you're into cross dressing dudes and boner killers then this is the anime for you

Rational Review:
This anime is horrible, it is like the anime version of ugly betty, No doubt the predictable plot will lead to the main character finding beauty in her uglyness. The jokes are cliche and not funny, dialogue is horrible and predictable. A drag to watch, repetitive story, the animation isn't that great for 2010 standards.

I only saw the 1st episode to be fair but it was the worst 1st episode i have ever seen in my life. I could go more into details of how horrible this 1st episode was but i dont wanna waste any more time on this garbage. (show less)
