Kuroshitsuji 2 is not as interesting as the first season although their dialogues are good but what I personally don't like in this anime is the ending....

Was hoping for a completely different story with the first one end so nicely, but my expectations were shatared with dead people returning and the first main character not being eaten. It really distroid my first impresions of the first series and the story arc. So stuff just don't work so nicely like in the first series.
They introduce a new set of contractors (human + daemon) which fight against the first ones. A lot of stuff happen between them and the daemon you grow a liking to get's a sad end. :( That really got me down.
For the love of ( read more)

To be honest, I was relucnat about this show to start with, as I was happy with the way the first show ended. In fact, the ending of the first show was one of the best things about it because it was final, conclusive and beautiful in a kind of way.
So for them to make a second season seemed like one big marketing plot and in my eyes, it really was.
It was just an excuse to bundle up many scenes that could look borderline pornographic, to a story that was just enough to catch your attention. The characters seemed to lose their edges here. Not to ( read more)

Ok so it has been 5 episodes so far in Kuroshitsuji II and I am very confused about this show and not just about the plot. Personally I love Kuroshitsuji. I fell in love with it a while ago and was amazed by the ending of the first season. And after seeing trailers for the second one I became very interested in watching it, even though at first I was sceptical about the new characters. After seeing the first episode I was sure that this was going to be another amazing addition to this series. But then I saw the second episode and my opinion of this ( read more)

I fell in love with it a while ago and was amazed by the ending of the first season. And after seeing trailers for the second one I became very interested in watching it, even though at first I was sceptical about the new characters. After seeing the first episode I was sure that this was going to be another amazing addition to this series. But then I saw the second episode and my opinion of this season began to slowly change. Why is the feel of these episode so drastically different from the first season? What happened to the Black comedy and gothic horror that was so awesome in the first season? Sure there are traces of that in the last four episode, but not to the same extent. Is it just me or do these episodes seem very watered down and domestic in comparison to the first season? Some could attribute that fact that this season is not derived from the manga, but then again most of the previous season was not in the manga either. I'm not bashing this season, but this series to me does not feel like it should. Perhaps there is a reason for this, because the episodes so far in this season (excluding the first one) seem kinda.... terrible. And over cliched. I am NOT saying that this series is a lost cause, but so far I am not sure about it. ( show less)
