I'm not saying this can't be enjoyable. It's aimed at kids, yes, but that wouldn't yet drive me off. Kids these days have ta watch something too :P
- Storywise: Complex universe and quite well thought-out too (skip the fillers). Quite childish main characters, but they're probably relatable to younger boys (and they do grow in shippuuden). Wide character cast so lots of people can find sb to relate to. It's getting too long but if you skip the fillers (ep 138 or so and after) u'll be saving lotsa time & won't be annoyed by repetitive fillers. Don't xpect any historic stuff about ninjas though (srsly, it says "supernatural" in the description).
- Dialogue: Lots of childish banter, can be enjoyable tho if u still have the sense for it.
- Animation: Srsly far below average, if you've seen two or three anime more you'll know what I mean. Even if you consider the release date it's still bad. >.>
- Entertainment: Most humour equals childish jokes, not very relatable to older ppl anymore though a few charas are so much over-the-top it's funny even for me. Most of the humour in the dialogue's more relatable to younger boys tho.
Well kk I'm too old to watch, I learned that, but no matter that it's a fine anime for the youngsters here and should be worth a look into.
HOWEVER! there's that thing that srsly drives me off: those few people who comment on ANY anime saying "it's crap, Naruto is the best and u know it". I don't mind if u think Naruto's the best, but don't go judging every other anime as crap 'CAUSE of that. Have a bit of an open mind for other anime, ppl. I'm not saying every Naruto fan's like this, there's lotsa reviewers here who've given other animes decent reviews... BUT I just can't stand the thought of being dragged into the whole anime mud-fight and lumped together with the few freaks who haven't written a decent review in their lifetime just coz I half-enjoyed Naruto. Most Naruto watchers prolly aren't 'Narutards' but the few who are ruin the image of the whole anime =,= (show less)

WOW, are they supposed to be ninjas? I mean naruto is a 13 year old kid with an ORANGE jumpsuit...
How the hell can he call himself a ninja? They are supposed to blend in, work in the shadows where no1 can see them.
The story is way to long, its predictable, there are to many unnecessary fillers that have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the main plot... Dialogue is cheap, with the same jokes that come back over and over and over again.
The animation is OK, nothing special bout it.
Its hard to like the main characters. You have naruto who is probably the most annoying kid ever to face the anime world. There's sasuke who is a dick. And finally you have sakura, a bitch who is COMPLETELY useless.

And the thing that bothers me the most is the fans of this show. Normally I wouldnt even take the time to make a review of an anime of this caliber. But it just annoys me seeing kids rating other animes that are probably 10 times better (if not more) badly and say stuff like NARUTO IS THE BEZZT ANIME EVAR AFTER POKEMON. This just shows that their fanbase is made of annoying immature people. (show less)
