"Natsu no Arashi! akinai-chuu" is more or less the same as the previous season, "Natsu no Arashi", but with some more flaws.

There's even less story in this season. I think they visited Arashi's time once in total. I got the feeling there was a lot more focus on Jun's and Hajime's relationship but it didn't really go anywhere.

If there's less plot, there's more comedy and its quality didn't drop but it wasn't extremely good to begin with. Some episodes were very enjoyable. I especially liked the last one but there were some dull moments again.

I still have the same issues with the art style but I've gotten used to it by now. One thing that did bother me more though is the intro (and maybe the outro). Last season's intro was one of the best things about the series but "Natsu no Arashi! akinai-chuu" had a horrible intro which was just plain boring to watch.

I took me longer to finish this show than it normally would. I might even regret watching it. It wasn't all bad and it had some hilarious moments but if you didn't think the previous season was great, I would advise against continuing with this. (show less)
