this is funny. actually this is good, but not good enough.
what make not good enough is because the main character is not pick one of two girls yet !
and the second one is because the idol's problem is not yet solve, i mean from the story looks like the main character will make her smile again or bring her emotion back, but its not !
thats make the story like not end but they force it to make it end !

if you ask me the story is good? yes its good ! but the ending is make me scream !
do you need S2? yes ! so the missing story can be clear !
so this anime is good enough because you need S2? not good enough ! i need S2 because they make the story ending like that !
so you okay if this anime have a good ending like you want then no need to have S2? no ! because i think this anime is worth it if they make the story more complicated, or i should say this anime is better to have 24 episode, not 12 episode ! '-')

this anime is cute version from Gin no Saji, but i think this anime have more comedy that can make you laugh, but Gin no Saji have a balance story from the main character and the joke..
maybe there is people who give this anime bad review because they compare this anime with Gin no Saji, but you guys should know ! if this anime release before Gin no Saji, you guys will love it and scream with me here !

So it seems that the anime series Gin no Saji (silver spoon) was popular enough to warrant a second season... personally I like Silver Spoon, having spent a good portion of my formative years on a farm the show appeals to the farm kid in me... No-Rin however.... I think came about like this:

SETTING, Office of the animation studio Silver Link, idea office

Director: Okay so Silver Spoon was popular, how can we rip it off

Animatior A: Boobs

Animator B: Echhi

Animator C: Fanservice

Director: Good ideas all, but your not thinking hard enough people, lets take everything that makes Silver Spoon Good and Replace them with all that you mentioned, then take all thats bad about the series were ripping off and replace it with MORE Boobs, Fanservice, and general Echhiness

All: BRILLIANT!!!

Director: Okay people lets get to work!

Story had a nice concept, but has been shelved for the Fanservice,

Dialog.... three of the characters spend 2/3rds of episode 2 discussing the underwear of the female lead, while said female lead stands there with a blank expression saying nothing

Animation: Low rent at best

Entertainment: I've given it a 3 episode chance, episodes are painful to sit through, I'm done here (show less)
