Summary: Nicoletta is a young woman who decides to go to Rome to see her mother who left her when she was a child. she plans to tell her mother`s lover(a resurant owner who will not marry a divorced woman)that her mother was once married. Nicoletta latter struggles to understand her feeling for Claudio(an older man) who works at the restaurant.

Its just so and so - quite slow paced

I've gone through and watched all of the episodes...it took me a while to get into this one and I found the story didnt go anywhere in a hurry.

On the plus side it is a relaxing anime, very slice of life though, Nodame Cantabile and Antique Bakery were much beter!

Also the anime, not sure if its just this style of artistry but it is very basic but not 'wow'.

All in all it is a very sweet anime, does have a plot (a slow one) the characters are fairly connected...but I wouldn't watch this one twice, there isn't anything that would make me (read more)

In this era of chef reality shows, it's sometimes easy to forget that there are those who cook simply for the love of food and cooking. Ristorante Paradiso is built around just such a place.

Although the primary storyline belongs to Nicoletta, who has arrived to confront the mother who left her years ago, there are plenty of forays into the lives of the rest of the staff. Each story is surprisingly well-told for such a short series.

There are romantic subplots, but each one is handled in an honorable fashion. Anyone from teenage forward (read more)
