I watched this anime after reading chapter 0 Manga, I knew a story this amazing must be turned to anime.
I was right, well, the first 6 episodes was full of action, the story just went through to the points.
But after that, they decided to stuff it with unrelated no point of side stories, 25 episodes was just an intro.
Disappointed, I could explain those 25 in 2.5 lines, but I won't spoil it.

If you done watching all the 25, read Manga from chapter 34 for the continues of the story.
I believe there will never be season 2, this anime is just a teaser so you buy the Manga, like some other shows. (show less)

Fear is the main driving force in this anime and thank God it actually captures it. You'll actually experience the fear that the characters feel. And that's the only good thing about it. The story is very familiar. Just think of the Titans as Zombies and you'll understand that you've seen this story over and over again. Furthermore the opening scene of this anime actually matches the Israel scene from WORLD WAR Z. Don't know who copied from whom or if it's actually just a coincidence. The story is too slow, felt like the episodes were stretched like rubber and lost charm altogether. 25 episodes later you still don't have a clue what's going on. It kinda feels like HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. You know, so many episodes gone and you're still in the middle of nowhere. The anime doesn't even answer the most BASIC questions, Where The F**k Did The Titans Came From?? And How The F**k People Managed To Built Those Huge Walls With So Many Titans Always Trying To Eat Them?? Don't even know why people are so hyped up about this!?!?! Even SAO is better than this -_- (show less)

The first scene was enough to intrigue viewers. The utter fear instilled by the sight of a Titan tearing down the wall that protects you would certainly make me shudder. That along with the gruesome death of Eren's mother. I will admit the story lost me along the way, that is until Eren got his leg and arm chomped off and swallowed by a Titan! That being said, reminded me a of a melancholy Gantz where main characters die halfway through the series. I racked my brain around it and never thought Eren would re-appear the way that he did which was a wonderful twist. Then once again the story lost (by lost I mean slightly bored) me until they departed on the 57th expedition and the "Lady" titan showed up along with the mystery surrounding her and the existence of all Titans. The soundtrack is top notch truly conveys the climatic scenes. Animations are awesome. Most of all it is all a matter of opinion so it is up to you. Goodluck and Enjoy (show less)
