I didn't enjoy the TV show Supernatural but when the series come out as anime i love it...

its more entertaining to watch this series as anime because of all supernatural actions that you will not buy it in reality but its completely amazing as Animation..

IF you like the anime Death-note which was amazing you must hated the Movie with real people trying to be L or Light...Death note anime was perfect but the realty Movie SUCKS

I am a very intense fan of the US Supernatural series so I had alot to expect from this anime. I will put it this way it did NOT disssapoint. The original series deals with two brothers searching for thier father and along the way fighting supernatural evils as he taught them.

The brothers are two different characters entirely Dean is a spirited, happy go lucky, rough and tumble handsome ladies man, Sam is a very educated, Savvy well mannered proper man who has alot of baggage. They both do for they are both cursed by an evil entity that has hunted thier family for generations,

I won't get too into the story as it will spoil suprises to the plot, but this is if any were a great series to adapt to anime. WHile the live action 1 hour long series did very well with special effects and action stunts and the like. Now with anime they can go all out on the creatures and special effects.

THe animation is top notch, a very realistic style that captures the show for fans perfectly. Dean and sam and thier 67' Chevy Impala are immediately recognizable. The character designs are amazingly faithful to thier live action counterparts and they rearranged the story a bit to start off fast and action packed and did very well condensing 1 hour events into a half hour show. They have improved upon alot of the action and plot to make it more gripping.

If you are a fan you will be in awe the whole way through until the end when you hear Carry on Wayward son song at the end of ep. 1. GOOSEBUMPS!!!! Even the comments and japanese voices still catch the essence of the characters to a tee.

If you are not a fan or never saw the live action, the fact that the anime company MADHOUSE brought it lets you know that this type of supernatural has what anime lovers like in thier paranormal stories. Think how many animes deal with ghosts, demons, shapeshifters, vampires, werewolves, Rouge angels...Well this show has it all and it all meshes into believable story of two brothers on a calling to ultimately save humanity from the brink of all hell.

After seeing the quality animation, great character development and a great adaption that improves the pace of the story changing it around, but in a good understandable way I think this one is a great contender. KEEP THEM COMING!! (show less)
