i only 1st heard of natsume yuujinchou through fan art and forums. after seeing the visual novels i loved it immediately. i hope i can read the word text novels if ever.
due to a fact how simple and fun the story is formed and drawn later on animated. this is an extremely balanced story involving supernatural factors and slice of life feelings.
and slightly informative about the supernatural beings focused in the story involving the main character.
this show is good due to a fact that it shows why we should be grateful about our family ( read more)

this show is good due to a fact that it shows why we should be grateful about our family and those close to us.
this makes people understand how special moments short and long can change one's view of life completely. even if it isn't big.
i really like how natsume-kun's funny moment with friends releases the tension in certain scenes when his in a tight spot. it brings out the great idea that you must trust friends and believe everything will be alright.
this is a must for those who love light hearted story's.
i really hope the outcome of this story ends well or surprise ending happens also show what the inner story to his grandmother reiko. ( show less)

If you like Season1 you’ll definitely enjoy watching this sequel. Natsume is still struggling with his ability to see yokai while his love & hate relationship with the gluttonous and cute Nyako sensei still continues. Each episode is as inspiring and heartwarming as ever along with new and strange yokai like a mermaid, a dragon and even a powerful water god in the guise of a young boy. I was hoping to have some more information about Reiko, the book’s previous owner, but so far there were only glimpse and hints about her mysterious past. ( read more)

I was hoping to have some more information about Reiko, the book’s previous owner, but so far there were only glimpse and hints about her mysterious past. The episode that I really like was the meeting of sorcerers because we finally get to see Natsume explore more about his abilities and was even able to perform a successful exorcism together with Natori. Another interesting character is Taki, who happens to belong to long line of omniyojist and possible love interest, and there is also the threat of the Matoba clan. However, I was a bit disappointed that some of his close friends like Jun and Tanuma didn’t have any active participation considering that they we’re once involved in his cases. Aside from that 2nd season has been an interesting development and I’m excited to see what season 3 has to offer hopefully we will get to see more of Natsume’s hidden abilities and perhaps a potential enemy lurking in the shadow. Second season for Natsume Yuujinchou, still, I like the peaceful environment and the friendly interaction between Natsume and his youkai(ghost) friends. After watching two seasons of this anime series, I feel like want to make friends with youkai and I don't think youkai are scary anymore. Now that season 3 is coming out: 'Natsume Yuujinchou San', I'm looking forward to watching it!!

I think that the second season is better than the first season but whatever..IT'S ALL AWESOME!
The story was basically almost the same as the first season just helping different youkais...Like the first season it never failed to make me shed a tear....It's really well written....
Hmmmm, dialogue I guess it's good....but at some point it made me yawn ^^"
No complains on the animation.
It's quite entertaining with jokes from Nyanko-sensei XD
Overall, it's a good anime...I would definitely recommend to everyone who likes heartwarming tales with ( read more)

Ugh. "Evil is good" trope making its way into yet another anime. Oh, a nun saying that as long as the demon and the others...
