The Story of this final season of the most excellent Zero no Tsukaima series is amazing. It flows both wonderfully and extremely well for a fitting end. Its both dramatic and hilarious all the way through.
The Dialogue is brilliant and showing the signs of the expertness that has made this series both fun and wonderful. Its exemplary in the Animation being sharp and cute.
The Entertainment is wonderful. It concludes the series the way it should be. Its a tad bit more serious and a far bit more about the original characters in some ways but ( read more)

I watched the first 3 seasons of ZnT after hearing the OP of the 1st season and wondering what anime series it came from... weird reason to watch an anime I know but it is what it is.
I really enjoyed the 1st season - the storyline, the fantasy world, travel between two worlds - it was all so interesting and unique. The 2nd and 3rd seasons were good but not as good. It felt like the fanservice got in the way of the story at times. I was glad to see this final season returned to more of a winning formula by focusing more on story and the characters ( read more)

It felt like the fanservice got in the way of the story at times. I was glad to see this final season returned to more of a winning formula by focusing more on story and the characters relationships than fanservice. Don't get me wrong, it's still in there, but not as over-the-top as it felt during the middle seasons.
Technically the animation is very good, clean and bright for the most part. I enjoyed the OP and ED from all the seasons but the 1st OP was my favourite. BGM was well done and helped set the tone for the on-screen action.
The strength of ZnT lies in its characters and the skill with which the VA's bring them to life. I've really enjoyed listening to the dialog in this series and I have to give credit to the VA's for the excellent work they've done!
Thankfully, they chose to end ZnT on a high-note and really the only way you'd expect it to end. I have to admit that ending made up for a lot of the disappointment I felt from some of the overt fanservice and the occasional 'fluff' episodes that are present in almost all short romcom anime series.
Zero no Tsukaima has been a very enjoyable anime experience for me and despite some of its shortcomings it pulls through with a great romantic ending.

The Zero no Tsukaima series has really touched my heart. After all, this series was the first non-universally known anime I had ever watched. Thinking about it over the years, I have come to an astonishing decision. Zero No Tsukaima has taken its place as my number 1 series in existence. The ending was phenomenal, and the story has brought many heart-felt tears to my eyes. However, I was sort of disappointed in some of the modifications they made in the anime adaptation in contrast to the light novel. But the fluidity of the story really did its ( read more)

But the fluidity of the story really did its part in making up for the discrepancies. To those who have yet to watch this series, I would highly recommend you to start with the titular series, Zero no Tsukaima, and work your way from there. To all those who have watched this spectacular anime, all I can really say is that I hope that your feelings ended the same as mine, with an "EXPLOSION!" ( show less)

Even though I expected the very long wait from the previous season to this one, it still transitioned well (at least I felt that way) and it went right back into the story, just as it always was. Very comical and relaxing with those nice fighting scenes inserted along the way.
