| Summary: |
Mato Kuroi just got into junior high school, and on the first day, someone catches her eye; her classmate Yomi Takanashi. The two meet.
The innocent and naive Mato. The mature Yomi. Seemingly opposites, but the time they spend together only strengthens a growing friendship.
But as they go into their second year at the school, they get placed in separate classes, and they begin to grow apart.
But somewhere simultaneously...
In another world, a young girl, blue fire residing in her eyes, Black Rock Shooter faces another young girl; this one holding a jet-black scythe, Dead Master, and a battle to the death begins to unfold. |

The pacing of this story perfectly balances tension to keep you watching. The story is beautiful as it is, but it's be great if they expanded on this.

Hey there, this OVA is epic, confusing but epic. The fighting was amazing. u.u Was really the only thing I enjoyed but the other bits were good too! O: NOW for some reason people are not rapidly uploading the ANIME! Yes, Black Rock Shooter's first episode was released today! :D I'd upload it myself, but seeing as my laptop is a retard I can't do shit all. -.- So could someone please upload the anime! D: I'm dying to watch it. T_T I need it. O_O PLEASE. I'll love you long time. ;D Sucky sucky for anime vid? ;3 Haha. >.>

Wow, what a great anime. Im still trying to wrap myself around it but I can honestly say that it was thoroughly entertaining. Im looking forward to more of this, I really want to see what the other world is. Is that just an analogy of Mato struggle to get her friend back and Yomi's depression or is it something more. Definetley worth my first posting since joining over a year ago.

very entertaining premise so far. good main characters. dialogue is a little slow hopefully that changes. animation style is great along the lines of Bleach mixed in with serial experiment lane. strong 4/5 from me.

It was a good start but it just wasn't enough to start off an anime. I found it really hard to follow what was going on in places but I found it to have a very good plot and thought it has alot of ways this story can go. I wouldn't recommend this until more episodes come out because it is complex to the extreme and I still have a lot of questions but I still loved this anime!
